South Perth Lions Band

Date: The 4th Friday EVERY MONTH (Except December.)

WHAT

We're a BIG BAND. That means four trumpets, four trombones, five saxophones, and a rhythm section. We play a mixture of classic standards and jazz-ified rock and pop, while a suite of ballroom dancers tear up the floor. Bring your own drinks and nibbles.

​

Door Charge: Tickets are $20. South Perth Lions Band is a charity band affiliated with the Lions Club. We musicians volunteer our time and talents, and all ticket sales go straight to the charitable works of the Lions Club.

Manhattons Quartet

Date: Every SECOND and every LAST Wednesday EVERY MONTH

Time: 7:30pm to 9:30pm

WHAT

We're a little quartet, playing for pennies and good vibes. Expect cheeky swing, sumptuous ballads, grooving funk and soothing latin, in a bar with the cheapest drinks in all of Freo.

​

Door Charge: $10 door charge, which gets split among the band at the end of the gig. It's how we get paid for these ones. (You can, of course, pay us more if you wish. We certainly appreciate it!) I use SquareApp on my phone to take payments, so come speak to me if there's nobody at the door.

Round Midnight Jazz Band

WHAT

Round Midnight is an octet playing an upbeat suite of tunes, mostly in a dixieland style, and the Civic Hotel have great food and beer. What better way to jazz up a weeknight?
